My name is Laura Fee. I am a qualified Reflexologist. I am also a qualified general nurse and a midwife. I am currently practising part time as a midwife at University Hospital Kerry.
Reflexology is a non intrusive complementary health therapy that uses pressure, applied by my fingers, to your feet, to work on reflex points on your feet that correspond to your body. The repeated practice of applying pressure to these reflex points can help us therapeutically on a physical and emotional level.
Reflexology is suitable for all ailments and all ages.

How does it work and what happens during a session:
At our first session I will take a full health history and determine the reason for your visit. This allows me to focus the area which is needing most attention to help relieve the ailment(s).
During the session you will sit on a reclined chair with only your feet exposed. I use cornflour on the foot to allow easier movement of my fingers on your foot.
I will start with some relaxation techniques and proceed to work on one foot at a time whilst the other foot is covered up with a warm towel. The session ends with more relaxation techniques. A session lasts approximately one hour.
